Illawarra has had its love of roasts reignited following the opening of Bucking Bull in Stockland Shellharbour Shopping Centre on March 12.
The brand has dominated food courts in Brisbane and Perth for nearly 15 years, but has experienced a renaissance of late, particularly in New South Wales and Victoria.
It is the home-style, traditional influence that attracted Franchisee Ram Sampalli to the boutique carvery.
“It’s a truly unique product in the food court and is something I really believe in,” said Ram.
After 20 years in the IT industry, the store has provided much more than just a career change for Ram.
“I have always loved cooking and sharing great food with people, but opening up my own business was really about job security and creating a new lifestyle,” he said.
“The more you put in the more you grow and the future looks bright.”
Stockland Shellharbour Centre Manager, Daniel Buchanan said the new mix of retailers is providing even more choice for customers within the local community.
“It is always great to introduce exciting new brands to the centre and we are looking forward to the response to Bucking Bull.” he said.
“Bucking Bull will provide a fresh new food option for our customers, completing the offer available in our newly refurbished food court.”
Bucking Bull is part of the Aktiv Brands group, with 36 stores located in QLD, WA, NSW and VIC.
Bucking Bull opened on March 12 and is located in the food court at Stockland Shellharbour Shopping Centre.
